Substituting Heavy Cream for Light Cream?

In the topping area, it said use heavy cream for the topping. Since I don't have heavy cream, can i use light cream?Substituting Heavy Cream for Light Cream?

Light cream won't whip like heavy cream would. Since you can't whip it, putting light cream on the cake will just make it soggy.
it won't have the same texture...but it'd taste similar and be healthier....
