Hey ihave heavy cream but i need light cream. can i sub?

i'm cooking a new casserole and it calls for light cream. i'm pretty shure i can sub with heavy but should i dilute it? i tried to look on line and all the subs just told me to use milk and butter. but heavy cream would be much better, right?Hey ihave heavy cream but i need light cream. can i sub?

If you need light cream you can just use the heavy cream with a bit of milk at about a 3:1 ratio. 3/4 cup of Heavy Cream and 1/4 cup Milk For a cup , would lighten your cream up.
Yes, just use 1/2 as much %26amp; top up with milk.
