Can light cream be substituted for heavy crean when making a cheesecake?

Im guessing, but I think it can


If you wish you had heavy cream for the recipe, add one tablespoon of melted butter.Can light cream be substituted for heavy crean when making a cheesecake?
You can but you will have a much less rich tasting dessert. You could also substitute the white water stuff masquerading as ';fat free milk'; so you don't have as much fat in your dessert. Be sure when you do this to use the fat free cream cheese stuff as well.
