What is healthier to have on a bagel: peanut butter or light cream cheese?

I'm not sure. Peanut butter is high in fat, but it is monounsaturated and polyunsaturated. Light Cream Cheese is lower in total fat, but most of the fat is saturated. Which one is the healthier choice? ( I probably won't be able to eat that healthy tomorrow anyway lol, but I'm going to make do with what knowledge I can get!) Please help me choose! What is healthier to have on a bagel: peanut butter or light cream cheese?
Peanut butter as it is healthier for you. What is healthier to have on a bagel: peanut butter or light cream cheese?
Peanut butter. It is high in protein and great for you!!
Try buying the natural, non-homogenized peanut butter, and when you open it, spoon off as much off the liquid fat as you can. I do that, and it tastes just as good.

I'm not sure which is ';healthier.'; Both are pretty fatty. . . .maybe alternating to hedge your bets?
Toast the bagel for more flavor.

For a longer lasting snack, go with the pb.

Cream cheese is yummy, but it is also constipating. I am allergic to peanuts so I like to dress my bagels with a little smear of lite cream cheese flavored with herbs.
mixing processed carbs and fats of any form is a recipe for fat storage. the body can only utilize one form of energy at a time.

if I was trying to lose weight I definetly would not eat bagels at all but if you must get your daily fix of bread in I would only conusme 1/2 a bagel and just enough peanut butter to add some taste

in terms of nutritional value peanut butter wins over cream cheese
