How do I make whipped cream frosting like Wal-Mart or Kroger bakeries? (not the buttercream the light one)?

I'm surprising friends tonight with a birthday cake and they don't like the buttercream or cream cheese frostings so I am in search of an easy to make whipped cream frosting. How do I make whipped cream frosting like Wal-Mart or Kroger bakeries? (not the buttercream the light one)?
I like this one best...it doesn't have that stick to the roof of your mouth grease thing going. :) The gelatin helps it stay whipped....wont go soft on you.

Whip Cream Frosting

1 tsp. unflavored gelatin

1/4 c. cold water

1 c. whipping cream

2 tbsp. confectioners sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Sprinkle gelatin over water to soften. Heat over low heat, stirring, until gelatin is dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in sugar and vanilla. Add gelatin mixture. Use to frost two-layer cake. How do I make whipped cream frosting like Wal-Mart or Kroger bakeries? (not the buttercream the light one)?

Whipped Cream Frosting is one of the lightest cake icings you can make.

INGREDIENTS:

2/3 cups white vegetable shortening

1/3 cup butter, softened

1 pound powdered sugar, sifted

1/4 cup heavy or whipping cream

1 teaspoon clear vanilla

PREPARATION:

Cream shortening and butter. Slowly add powdered sugar. Combine completely. Slowly add cream and then vanilla. Beat for 5 minutes on high. Keeps for weeks in the refrigerator.
I don't like frosting either - too sweet. I make stabilized whipped cream instead. It doesn't break down like regular whipped cream and it tastes better than cool whip.

Here's a recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/stabilized-鈥?/a>

Either can be doubled if necessary.

Good luck!
Look this up on www.recipes.com, I'm not sure that it is actually whipped cream they use, you may be referring to the Fluffy frosting, which is more a marshmallow type, but I'm not sure.
