Is there any reason I shouldn't wear a cream / light sand coloured suit to work?
It looks stylish and smart but is obviously quite different to the usual grey or navy blue.

if you can`t chose a nice fabrik of the color, then you can not wear any color

As long as it's well tailored and you accessorise appropriately, shouldn't be a problem. I'm trusting you when you say that it's stylish and smart!
Keep the hair professional if you can- it'll compliment the outfit and prevent it from looking trashy.
Don't wear it if it's raining!!
